Scholarship and tuition waiver programs are available for local and state public health professionals in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota. These opportunities are offered through the University of Minnesota Center for Public Health Preparedness, the Midwest Center for Life-Long-Learning in Public Health, the Midwest Center for Occupational Health and Safety and the Genomics Project, Minnesota Department of Health, through the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Not all scholarship and tuition waiver programs require that applicants are currently enrolled at the University of Minnesota.

Awards are based on the applicant's statement of interest, length of service in the field and potential applicability of the courses to the applicant’s future role.
